So that you feel safe when ordering and purchasing and when visiting our websites, we conform strictly to statutory regulations and therefore provide below details of how we handle your data. In agreeing to the following data protection statement, you are consenting to the collection, processing and use of your personal data with due regard to data protection law and the following provisions.

2. What data do we collect and process and what do we do with it?

Personal data
Personal data is information about the material or personal circumstances of an identified or identifiable individual. This can include, for example, your name, your telephone number, your address, and all data you provide us during registration and when setting up your customer account (customer requirements). This does not include statistical data that we collect, for example when you access our customer requirements, and which cannot be directly associated with you personally (e.g. number of storage tanks).

Customer account
We set up a customer account for every customer who orders from us or requests an offer.
Collection, processing and use of your personal data
We collect, store and process your data to process your purchase, including any warranty period, as well as for technical administration and for our own marketing purposes. Your personal data will only be passed to third parties or otherwise transmitted if this is necessary for the purposes of fulfilling the contract or invoicing, or if you have previously given consent. The ordering process involves, for example, service providers who we use (e.g. shipping companies) receiving the data necessary for ordering and processing. The data disclosed to them may only be used by our service providers to fulfil their role. No other use of the information is permitted and none takes place with any of the service providers we engage. We require your correct name, address and payment details for your order. We also require your email address so that we can confirm receipt of your order and communicate with you. Moreover, you receive confirmation of shipping and the invoice via your email address.

Use of your data for advertising purposes
Besides processing your data to fulfil your purchase from us, we also use your data to communicate with you about your orders, specific products or marketing actions, and to recommend products or services that might interest you.

Recommending products to customers
As our customer, you will occasionally receive product recommendations from us by email. You will receive these product recommendations regardless whether you subscribe to our newsletter. We want to update you about the products in our range which, based on your previous purchases, we believe might interest you. At the same time, we strictly adhere to the statutory regulations. You can find information about your right to object under point 7 below.

I hereby consent to Feralco using the data I provide and other information relating to my customer account as well as pseudonymised usage data to present personalised advertising and/or special offers and services.

Google Analytics uses “cookies”: text files that are stored on your computer and that allow analysis of your use of the website. The information on your use of this website that is generated by the cookie is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, in the event of activating IP anonymisation on this website, Google will first abbreviate your IP address within member states of the European Union or in other states that have signed the Agreement beyond the European Economic Area. The full IP address will only be transferred to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there in exceptional cases. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google. Google uses this information on behalf of the operator of this website to analyse your use of the website in order to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services associated with website use and Internet use to the website operator. This also includes our legitimate interest in data processing. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is governed by the TMG (German Telemedia Act) and/or GDPR.

You can set your browser software to prevent storage of cookies; please note however that if you do so you may not be able to use all the functions of this website fully. Opt-out cookies prevent future collection of your data when you visit this website. To prevent collection by Universal Analytics over a variety of devices you must set up the opt-out cookie on every system you use.
