Neisser staining
Dye solutions:
Solution A: Methylene blue in glacial acetic acid and ethanol
Solution B: Crystal violet in ethanol
Solution C: Chrysoidine Y
Method:
1. Production of dry specimen
2. Mix Solution A and Solution B in 2:1 ratio; allow to act on the specimen for 25 seconds
3. Dab dry with absorbent paper towel
4. Allow Solution C to act for 45 seconds
5. Rinse with water
6. Dry
